Easy no-churn vanilla ice cream

Ingredients

  • 400g condensed milk

  • 2 cups heavy cream (cold)

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence 

  • A pinch of salt.

Instructions

  1. Whisk the condensed milk, vanilla essence and salt together and set aside

  2. Whip the cold cream until stiff peaks form

  3. Take 1 cup of cream and add to condensed milk mixture to thin a bit. Then turn the mixture into the bowl of the remaining cream

  4. Freeze for 5 hours

  5. If you want to add fillings (like cookie crumbs, peanut butter swirl or caramel syrup), mix them in at the 2-hour mark and freeze for the remaining 3 hours
